Why is it a bad idea to use “Google Translate” for e-Shopping?

Let’s be honest about this one: Google Translate is one of the best services (or maybe even the best service) the net has ever seen, when it comes to browsing around foreign-speaking sites. It does, however, occasionally generate rather hilarious results.

The following lines have been taken out directly from a copyright-footer of a Japanese publishing site:

This website has been published on the unauthorized use of images such as reprinting text is strictly prohibited.

I wish more sites were this bluntly honest.
